Data Dictionary

Each ICEFLO instance has been enabled with new Data Dictionary functionality.  This option is available to Administrators only, via the Admin tab, and allows a client to amend core object names to alternative options which correlate better with your organisation terminology.

The following terminology can be changed:

  • Event
  • Events
  • Issue
  • Issues
  • STP
  • STPs
  • User Def 1
  • User Def 2
  • User Def 3
  • User Def 4
  • User Def 5
  • User Def 6

In the first instance your dictionary will be empty.

You can add rows by clicking 'Add Row' and selecting which data item you wish to change.  

You can then enter your chosen substitution. An example of this would be to rename STP to be Runbook. 

In order for the substitution to be active you must ensure that the Enabled field is set to Yes.

This will result in every reference to STP within ICEFLO being replaced with 'Runbook'
