Multi Start/Multi Stop

ICEFLO allows for multiple Tasks to be Activated or Completed at the same time, to the limit of 10. This function is available for both STP and Event Tasks. It is only available to those who have the correct permissions to Activate or Complete Tasks.

From the List Tasks view in either a single STP or an Event, a Select All tick box is available in the left hand column of your List Tasks view. Individual tick boxes are also available on the Tasks which are available to either Activate or Complete. This view will prevail across all Interactive report views and all number of rows selections.

Depending on which action you want to complete, you may want to consider using the relevant Default Report (eg 5. Available Tasks) or your own filtered selection of Tasks to display the list of Tasks which can be actioned.

After selecting with the Select All button or the individual check boxes, go to the Multiple Tasks Action menu and select either Activate or Complete, depending on the action you want to carry out.

A pop up modal will then list the Tasks which you have slected to be Activated or Completed. Tasks can only be either Activated or Completed - selecting multiple Active and Available Tasks will not allow you to action both at the same time. In the event that you select some Active and Available Tasks, then select the Complete option, only the Active tasks will be actioned.

In the event that you select more than the 10 Task limit for multiple Activate or multiple Complete, an error message will advise you of this and you will be asked to return to re-select Tasks within the limit.

It is also important to note that when you make a selection of Tasks to Activate or Complete on one page, and paginate to other pages, your selections on previous pages will be retained. This is also the case for moving between different Interactive Reports. A refresh of the screen will clear all selections, or you can go to an appropriate report to see all the Tasks you have selected.

Using the In flight Tasks visualisations, does not work in the same way. Clicking  in the Late Tasks visualisation, for example, will clear any previous Task selections.
