Runbook Gauge
The Runbook Gauge is a useful visualisation for giving an immediate, high-level view of the status of a Runbook, and how it is progressing against the planned schedule. Th Gauge is dynamic and will update as Tasks are stopped and started, or a Task or the Runbook is Suspended.
Runbook Gauge
There are 3 mandatory fields in the Schedule Runbook screen; Change Start, Change End and Service Impact. If you do not enter a time into the Warning Threshold this will default to the Service Impact time.
Green - this is the Change window within which the deployment is scheduled to complete.
Yellow - this is the time after your Change window but before the Warning threshold.
Amber - this is the Service Protection Period.
Red - this is when the Service you are deploying the change to, may be impacted.
Scheduled Runbook
St: Start Time - this is effective start so driven by change window start, system time, explicit starts on tasks, dependencies on external Runbooks driving out start time.
IM: Implementation Forecast End
BN: Backout Now Forecast End
BW: Backout Worst Case Forecast End Time
