Assuming a Runbook has the following steps completed:

• Scheduled and has a start time and maintenance and change windows defined (see Scheduling the Runbook);
• Deployment Team has been defined (Building the Deployment Team);
• Tasks have been added or edited (Adding Tasks or Edit Stage ); and
• Task dependencies have been defined (Dependency Creation).

The Runbook can now be taken through the approval process to: Approved, Committed, Activated.
