Add a Task

There are three ways in which a User can add a Task to a Runbook:

  1. Runbook List Tasks Screen
  2. Runbook Edit Tasks
  3. Runbook Card View

List Tasks Screen - Add a Task

Users can add a Task via the Add Task Button on the list tasks screen. When invoking the add task button from the list task screen the new task will be added directly below from where the action has been invoked.

On clicking on the add task button the Add Task Modal Window will be launch, this is where the details of the new task can be added.

Once the details of the task have been added you have the option to either Add the individual Task, or Add the Task and Add another.

Add Task - Edit Task Screen

You can also Add a Task from the Edit Screen. In order to do this navigate to the Edit Task Screen.

Click on the menu icon on the left of the task or stage header which you would like to add the new Task under.

How to Add  a Task

This will launch the same add Task Modal window as above, where you can add either the individual task or the multiple tasks.

Once all tasks have been added, and changes made, save the changes.

Add Task - Card View

Users can also navigate to the Card View and add tasks to Runbooks. Clicking the More Options menu from either the Stage Header or Task will launch the Add Task Modal Window allowing users to Add Tasks to a Runbook.
