How do I Create a Service?
Services are housed under a particular Portfolio. A Service may house multiple Programmes under which many Projects may sit. A Service may serve a particular business function or purpose. Only Users with Administrator Authorisation can create, maintain and delete a Service.
Catalogues
The Catalogues section can be found by selecting the Catalogues domain from the menu on the left hand side of the screen. This will present you with a suite of Catalogue options.
Click the Portfolio - Services section. This will take you to the Portfolios and Services screen.
Services
By selecting a Portfolio from the top panel a list of Services aligned to that particular Portfolio will automatically appear in the bottom panel.
Create Service
To create a new Service you can select Add Service from the top menu of Services or select Add Row from the Row Actions (burger menu) on the left hand side of the panel.
In the newly created row type in the new Service Name, State, Criticality, % Availability, RTO Duration, RPO Duration and a Description of the Service.
Press Save to process the new addition.
Service Created
The new Service has now been created and sits under the chosen Portfolio.
