An Event in ICEFLO is a consolidated view of a number of Runbooks.  It is possible but not mandatory that these are linked by task dependencies.  An Event can be thought of as a number of implementations with some relationship (e.g. same business services effected, running over same weekend) or a number of discrete Runbooks that form part of a single business or technological goal (e.g. migrating many parts and interfaces of a global system). A user with Event Manager status can create, maintain and monitor Events.
