Issue Status Alerting
Once an Issue has been created, an alert threshold can be added to the issue, to notify users when an issue has not been updated over the set threshold. By default, when this is enabled the threshold will be set to 15 minutes. This means that if the issue has not been updated and breaches the threshold set then an alert will be sent out to users who are set to receive comms to let them know that Issue X has not been updated in the last 15 minutes.
The threshold can be set on the creation of the issue. Every time the issue is updated the countdown to the threshold will be reset. However after creation if this value needs to be amended it can be done via the maintain issue modal window.
Communications will continue to be sent until the issue has been closed. However if the Runbook is Dormant, has been Abandoned or is in an Event which has been closed, then notifications will not be sent out on these. If a user re-activates a Runbook then the Issue notifications will re-start.
Notifications of inactivity in an Issue will go out to anyone who has set their communications preferences on in My Profile and who is part of the Deployment Team and have been added to receive Comms for a specific Runbook. The notifications will be sent to users via SMS and/or email.
