Issue Communications

Communications can be triggered from issues which have been raised against a Runbook.

Issue escalations will be triggered from the Runbook if escalations have been enabled from the Runbook.  

Escalations will be sent when the following occurs:

Escalation Message Trigger
Medium or High Level Issue Raised Issue being raised where the severity is either medium or high
Issue Resolved Issue being resolved
Issue Severity Increased from Low to High
The severity of an issue being increased
Issue Severity Increased from Low to Medium
The severity of an issue being increased
Issue Severity Increased from Medium to High
The severity of an issue being increased
Issue Severity Decreased from High to Medium
The severity of an issue being decreased
Issue Severity Decreased from Medium to Low
The severity of an issue being decreased
Issue Severity Decreased from High to Low The severity of an issue being decreased
Estimated Resolution Time Passed The estimated resolution time of an issue being passed
Backout Activated Issue being raised with the Backout being invoked, regardless of issue severity

Note: Caution must be exercised when assigning severity to an issue as automated communications may occur i.e. sending emails to those involved in the deployment.
