Task Level Notifications and Communications
ICEFLO allows for Task Level Communications to be sent out and can be sent via SMS or Email.
ICEFLO also allows for customised emails to be sent from Tasks and these are only available via Email.
Notifications and Communications will be sent from ICEFLO with regards to a Task when either Notify Owner or Trigger Comms has been enabled on the Task.
Anyone who has the permissions to edit tasks is able to check the Notify Owner or Trigger Comms box.
Customised Comms Messages
Customised communication messages can be sent via ICEFLO. These will be sent out on the competition of tasks, if trigger comms has been enabled for that task.
Customised messages can be entered into the Comms Message section of the Task Detail modal window. These messages can be formatted using the HTML format editor, which allows for a number of formats to be added to the message including the ability to bold and underline text.
Please note that bespoke messages will only be sent via email
In the Comms message field you are limited to a maximum of 1500 characters, the character count in the bottom of the cell will count down the characters used. Once 1500 has been reached Users will not be able to add anything else to the message.
Users will also be able to copy and paste text into the Comms Message field, however if the data being copied into the cell exceeds 1500 characters the paste option will not appear.
Remember for users to receive communications and notifications, communications and notifications must be enabled at the Runbook level, the flag must be added to the task, the listening community should have communications set to Y under the Communications menu item in the runbook and have there personal details added under their user profiles to ensure the messages are received.
